Winter Hunstman

The cold blues of this painting suggest a day in deep winter, perhaps a Sunday morning hunt in the frost.  The movement of the paint across the canvas hints at  the early morning frosty mist parting to allow the horse and hounds free passage.  The stark red of the rider's jacket contrasts sharply with the cold air around.  This painting measures about 18" X 12" and is professionally framed.
